Cosmetic Eye Procedures

BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a minimally invasive way to achieve a more relaxed, refreshed, even younger appearance.  BOTOX® works by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkling of the skin. It is particularly effective in the area between the eyebrows that often is associated with a tired, worried or aged appearance. For an appointment, please contact Michelle Berry 304-598-4861.

Keeping time on your side

How does BOTOX® Cosmetic work?
BOTOX® blocks the chemical signal that causes certain facial muscles to contract. This causes the muscle to relax and the wrinkles that are caused by certain facial expressions to become smoother. It is also useful for medical conditions such as benign essential blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm.

What type of equipment is used?
No specific equipment, other than extremely small and precise needles, is needed and the treatments are performed right in the office.

What desired results can be expected?
The duration of improvement with the BOTOX® Cosmetic varies between patients. Treatment effects typically last 3 to 4 months for wrinkles and 5 to 6 months for hyperhidrosis. Repeat treatments need to be performed to maintain the effect. Sometimes after a year or two of regular repeat treatments less frequent injections (such as every 6 months) can maintain the effect.

We offer BOTOX® Cosmetic sessions one day a month. We also offer Juvederm® consultations.
