Outpatient Treatment Programs

Behavioral and emotional concerns can cast a shadow on everyday life, creating additional problems that may get worse without help.

WVU Healthcare’s Chestnut Ridge Center offers outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Therapy is available for marital problems, sexuality issues, anxiety, depression, problems of the elderly, school problems, behavioral issues, and more.

Adults who are experiencing problems related to addiction issues can find help in Chestnut Ridge Center’s outpatient programs. We offer both individual and group therapy for addictions following detoxification. Our COPES program is designed specifically to treat opioid addiction.

Outpatient services are offered Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 304-598-6277 for an appointment.

Our outpatient services – through individual, group, couples, and family counseling – work toward the goal of achieving stability so he or she can reintegrate into home, school, and community.

Our child and adolescent outpatient programs focus on the unique developmental issues of this age group. Adult outpatient programs are designed to provide intensive treatment that promotes productive involvement in family, job, and community for patients 18 years old and older.

Older adults who experience memory problems can receive comprehensive evaluation and treatment. Symptoms that may need to be evaluated can include memory loss that affects job skills, problems with language, mood or behavior changes and others.
