Physicians who refer patients to WVU are key members of the patient's medical team. WVU Healthcare offers physician-to-physician services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our call center transfer representatives will connect you with the appropriate WVU physician for consults, appointments, admissions, transfers, and patient information.

Through Physicians Services and MARS, referring physicians are provided with timely patient information including notification of scheduled (and rescheduled) patient admissions or procedures and documentation including discharge summaries.

MARS and the Physician Services Specialist serve as a contact for additional information such as clinic letters, test results, and medication information.

Patient information is available by phone, fax or overnight mail if desired.
