Rural healthcare forum on Monday

WVU and Rep. McKinley host discussion

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Healthcare and policy experts from across the state will gather in Morgantown on Monday, April 21 to discuss ways to improve the health of West Virginians, especially those in rural areas. Rep. David B. McKinley (R-W.Va.) and West Virginia University President E. Gordon Gee, J.D., Ed.D., will host the event beginning at 1 p.m. at the Erickson Alumni Center.

Participants in the roundtable discussion will include: Other entities that will be represented include the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Highmark West Virginia, and the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health.

The public is welcome to discuss issues and solutions related to rural healthcare. The forum is in the Ruby Grand Salon C in the Alumni Center.
