95XIL event to raise money for WVU Children’s Hospital

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. – Mid-Ohio Valley radio station 95XIL will be hosting an event to raise money for West Virginia University Children’s Hospital at 7 p.m. April 16 at the Blennerhassett Hotel.

The event will feature nationally syndicated radio personalities Bob and Sheri, as well as music performed by Bobby Nicholas, manager of development programs at WVU Children’s Hospital.

“Events like this are important not only because they help us raise the funds we need to take care of the children who come to us, but they also help educate people throughout the state about what we can do for them,” Cheryl Jones, R.N., director of WVU Children’s Hospital said. “We care for children from all corners of West Virginia and the surrounding region. With these types of fundraisers, we can ensure that no child is ever turned away because of the family’s inability to pay.”

Tickets are $20 and are available for purchase at the 95XIL studios on Rosemar Circle and the Starbucks located inside Blennerhassett Hotel.

WVU Children's Hospital provides pediatric, infant and maternal and care for West Virginia and the surrounding region.
