WVU researcher to serve in journal editorial post

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – James M. O'Donnell, Ph.D., of the WVU School of Medicine has been named associate editor of the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (JPET).

The journal, which has been published for 100 years, is a leading academic resource for researchers in pharmacology worldwide. JPET covers all aspects of the interactions of chemicals with biological systems, as well as analgesics, drug abuse, chemotherapy and toxicology.

O’Donnell is assistant vice president for research for the Health Sciences Center and assistant dean for research in the School of Medicine. He is a professor and vice chair in the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry.
