Learn about epilepsy Sept. 19 at WVU

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Interested in learning more about epilepsy? The medical staff at the West Virginia University Epilepsy Center has planned a conference for people with epilepsy and those who care for them Sept. 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The conference will be at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center in Morgantown.

Topics include:

  • Pediatric treatment update
  • Advances in treatment for adults
  • Advocating for your child in the school system
  • Neuropsychological testing
  • Women and epilepsy

Registration is $10 (individual) or $25 (family), but the fee can be waived by registering; call 1-800-361-5885.

Co-sponsors are the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Central Pennsylvania and the WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities, and underwriting is from the Epilepsy Foundation and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
