WVUH nurses continue community clothing drive

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A reminder: Nurses at West Virginia University Hospitals are collecting clothing in new or excellent condition to benefit Christian Help, a United Way agency.

The Nursing Services Department organized the drive, in conjunction with the United Way Day of Caring, Aug. 5. This is the eleventh year the nurses have volunteered for this project.

Items can be dropped off at the Volunteer Services Department, first floor of Ruby Memorial Hospital, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., July 20 through Aug. 4.
Items also can be dropped off Wednesday, Aug. 5, the Day of Caring, from 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the former Foodland Building on the Mileground.

Christian Help is looking for shoes, scrubs, children’s back-to-school clothing, and men’s and women’s professional clothing. The items should be in excellent condition.
