Free sports physicals offered June 6

Junior high and high school students are eligible

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Free health screenings for students planning to engage in sports activities will be held June 6 at HealthWorks and the West Virginia University Sports Medicine facilities at 943 Maple Drive in Morgantown. The exams begin at 8:30 a.m.

The WVU Sports Medicine Center, along with the WVU Heart Institute, is teaming up with HealthWorks to offer the free screenings. HealthWorks is a rehabilitation and fitness center. For an appointment, call 304-599-2515.

The screenings will include an EKG and orthopedic exam as well as a treadmill gait evaluation.
