WVU Hospitals Nursing Services Community Drive

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Nursing Services Department at West Virginia University Hospitals will hold its 10th annual community clothing drive this month, in conjunction with the United Way Day of Caring, May 21.

Collections will benefit Christian Help, a United Way agency.

Items can be dropped off at the Volunteer Services Department at WVU Hospitals weekdays through Tuesday, May 20. The office is located on the first floor of Ruby Memorial Hospital and will accept donations from 7 a.m. -  4 p.m. Items also can be dropped off Wednesday, May 21, the Day of Caring, from 7:45 a.m.- 2 p.m., at the former Foodland Building on the Mileground.

Christian Help will accept the following items: children’s clothing and shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and men’s and women’s professional clothing.

All donations should be in new or excellent condition.
