WVU Hospitals announces ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!’ poster contest winners
In celebration of Earth Day, April 22, West Virginia University Hospitals held a “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!” poster contest for area children, ages five to 13.  Participants were eligible to compete in one of three categories, depending on their age.  The winners are listed by category.

Ages 5 to 7:

First place: Audrie Prudnick, age 7, of Morgantown

Second place: Ridgely Fahey, age 6, of Morgantown

Third place: Levi Jacob Parker, age 5, of Morgantown

The first-place winners received the Discovery Channel’s “Planet Earth” series on DVD, along with a “Go Green” t-shirt.

Ages 8 to 10:

First place: Patricia Fahey, age 8, of Morgantown

Second place: Camryn Hughes, age 8, of Reedsville

Third place: Raji Cummings, age 10, of Morgantown

The second-place winners received an age-appropriate book about the environment, pool passes and a “Go Green” t-shirt.

Second place: Lexus Hawkins, age 11, of Morgantown

Third place: Tyler Stouffer, age 11, of Morgantown

Jarod Ringer, age 11, of Bruceton Mills
