Epilepsy Support Group Meets Jan. 30
Monthly meetings include presentations and open discussions

People with epilepsy and their caregivers are invited to a support group meeting Wednesday night, Jan. 30, from 6 – 7 p.m. in the third floor conference room at the Physician Office Center next to WVU’s Ruby Memorial Hospital.

The support group meets regularly on the last Wednesday night of each month, excluding holidays.  The meetings include different presentations on topics related to epilepsy and time for open discussion.

Nearly two and half million Americans have epilepsy, but the disorder also affects their family and friends.  The support group gives all persons affected an opportunity to learn more about epilepsy and caregiving.

For more information, or if you would like to attend a monthly meeting, call Daunice Lohr at (304) 598-4852.
