WVU Eye Institute Purchases New Device That Simulates Eye Surgery
Residents will train on the new EYESI

A gift from grateful patients will allow West Virginia University ophthalmology residents the opportunity to practice surgical eye procedures without touching a patient.  The EYESI virtual reality simulator was purchased with money donated to the WVU Eye Institute by William and Erna Atkinson, originally from Wheeling.
