WVU Children’s Hospital Sets Sail on Miracle Cruise

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU Children’s Hospitals in collaboration with Carnival Cruise Lines is hosting the Don Nehlen WVU Children’s Hospital Miracle Cruise aboard the Carnival Valor, sailing July 29 through August 5 to the Caribbean. A portion of the proceeds from the cruise will be donated to WVU Children’s Hospital to support the children of West Virginia.

“This is the first year for the Miracle Cruise and we hope it is an event we can offer for years to come,” said Bobby Nicholas, development specialist for WVU Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network. “The Miracle Cruise allows people to take an adventure while giving back to children in need.”

Beginning in the Port of Miami, the cruise will travel to Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Passengers have the flexibility to travel the islands and enjoy the beaches, duty-free shops and beautiful scenery.

Passengers have the choice of staying in interior, ocean view or balcony rooms. Airfare is included with certain room packages and space is limited.

“We have already confirmed ten reservations for the cruise and have approximately 100 cabins left to fill,” said Nicholas.
