Brick to Speak at WVU Eastern Division

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - West Virginia University Hospitals-East and the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center Eastern Division will sponsor a community mini-medical school program Headaches..What Type Do You Have on Tuesday, November 7.   

The mini-medical school programwill be presented by John F. Brick, M.D., Chairman of the Department of Neurology, WVU School of Medicine in Morgantown.  He will be joined for a panel discussion at the end of the presentation by Karoly Varga, M.D., Ph.D., a neurologist with the Panhandle Neurology Center in Martinsburg.   

The public is invited to attend this seminar to learn about the different types of headaches and various treatment options.  This community mini-medical school seminar will be held in the Erma Byrd Health Professions Education Building on the City Hospital campus.  Sign-in begins at 6:30 pm, with the program to follow from 7 – 8 pm.  A dessert reception provided by the Purple Iris will be offered at the conclusion of the seminar.
