University Health Associates Raises OK’d

Most to see 3% increase

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Nearly 1,000 University Health Associates (UHA) employees in Morgantown and across West Virginia will have 3 percent pay increases in July, according to Jeff Neely, M.D., president and CEO.

“UHA is committed to superlative customer service, and our employees are the key to our continued success,” Dr. Neely said. “This pay increase will assure that our salaries remain attractive and competitive, and that we will be able to continue to attract and retain the talented people who make our health care operations work for patients and physicians.”

UHA is the faculty practice plan associated with the WVU School of Medicine and School of Dentistry, and provides support to the medical and dental offices on campus, and in some WVU Hospitals departments. It also has employees in WVU-affiliated health and educational facilities in Clarksburg, Elkins, Harpers Ferry, Martinsburg, Ranson, Weston and Wheeling.

Most full- and part-time non-faculty UHA employees are eligible for the raise. Exceptions include those recently hired at the new salary rate, or others who are temporary employees or student employees. As of June 30, UHA had 984 employees on its payroll.
