MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A pancake breakfast to benefit West Virginia University Children’s Hospital will be held on Saturday, May 13 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the East Fairmont High School cafeteria. The North Central West Virginia Home Builders Association (NCWVHBA) and the Fairmont Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant will host it.

Each year more than 7,500 patients are admitted to WVU Children’s Hospital for the treatment of every imaginable injury and illness from cuts and broken bones to cancer and cardiac disorders. These patients come from every county in West Virginia as well as the surrounding states of Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio.

“We are so excited to have the North Central West Virginia Home Builders Association and Cracker Barrel on board with us to help the patients at WVU Children’s Hospital,” said Peggy Myers-Smith, the manager of development programs and WVUCH.  “With their help and dedication we know this event will be a success.”
