WVU Hosts Forensic Science Lecture

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University will host "CSI: Science, Entertainment or Somewhere in Between" a lecture to identify the various professions represented on the hit TV show CSI and to better understand the realities of forensic science.

The lecture will be held at noon Friday, March 24, at the Health Sciences Center Auditorium in Morgantown.  The lecture will feature Carla M. Noziglia, chairman of the board of trustees for the Forensic Science Foundation, who has worked extensively in forensic laboratories, training forensic scientists and giving testimony.  Her experiences as a subcontractor with the U.S. Department of Justice and a senior forensic advisor for the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania have made her a leader in her field.

The lecture is sponsored by the Office of Continuing Education.  The lecture is free and open to the public.  Continuing education credit is available to those who attend.  For more information, contact the WVU Office of Continuing Education.
