McCloy Remains Critical

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.--Randal McCloy, the sole survivor of last week’s Sago Mine accident, remained in critical but stable condition Friday at West Virginia University Hospitals.

Larry Roberts, M.D., director of the Jon Michael Moore Trauma Center at WVU Hospitals, reported that Mr. McCloy’s overall condition remains essentially unchanged. He is still in a coma.

Note to editors: Over the holiday weekend WVU Hospitals will provide only one update per day, unless there is significant news to report.
