Patient Parking Still Free

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Students and others who want to park close to the Health Sciences Building have a new option – the parking garage behind Ruby Memorial Hospital now offers daily parking.

A total of 111 spaces on Levels 2 and 3 of parking garage are available 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday. The parking fee is a flat rate of $4 for up to nine hours. It’s $8 for 9-17 hours, and $10 for 17-24 hours. There will be a WVU Hospitals security officer on duty at the garage entrance at all times. Parking fees must be paid in advance, and in cash only. Your fee covers one entry only – if you leave and come back, you must pay again.

Parking for patients at all WVU Healthcare sites is still available at no charge.

Students, faculty and others who want the convenience of parking in the garage on a regular basis may also lease a space in the garage on a monthly basis. The cost is $120 per month and there is a three-month minimum lease.

Patients at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center who have difficulty walking may use the valet service there from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Because of ongoing construction, the service has been temporarily expanded to include a valet parking booth at the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center, which also serves patients from the Sleeth Family Medicine Center, the WVU Dental Clinics and University Health Services (student health).
