WVU Children's Hospital Kids Fair
 
WVU Children's Hospital will hold its 14th annual Kids Fair on Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Morgantown Mall. The event theme "Healthy Kids - Healthy Communities" is geared toward kids ages 12 and under and focuses on promoting health, wellness, and safety.
 
Join us for a day of fun, learning, and play.The Kids Fair is one of the largest events of its kind in the region with entertainment, games, and educational activities for everyone. There will be 52 booths at this year’s event, featuring free health assessments, a kiddie carnival, special appearances, live entertainment, and more. 
 
Stop by the Kids Fair Welcome Booth, located near the mall play area to get a free drawstring backpack, while supplies last. You can also purchase raffle tickets for $1 for a chance to win either a Nintendo DSi XL (with games) or a baby stroller/car seat combo. The proceeds from the raffles benefit WVU Children’s Hospital.
 
Some of the festivities include:
  • test your agility at the WVUH Rehabilitation Services obstacle course
  • visit the WVUH Neuro Labs booth to learn about electricity and the brain
  • go to the WVU Children’s Hospital Kiddie Carnival from 10 am - 2 pm with Games and Face Painting
  • jump till you drop at the BOPARC Bounce House

  • Developmental (for kids from birth to age 3)
  • Flexibility and Strength
  • Glucose
  • Lung Function
  • Pulse and Heart Rate
  • Vision screenings for kids ages 3 to 5
    In addition to these assessments, FluMist will be available for $30.
