2012 WVU Healthcare Sprint, Splash and Spin Triathlon

Come join us in promoting community health and wellness in WVU Hospitals’ Sprint, Splash ‘n Spin triathlon. The event, which showcases the city’s parks and rail-trails, begins Friday, August 24th with an under-14 children’s race and continues Saturday, August 25th with the adult and team race.
 
The triathlon opens with the swimming segment at Marilla Park in Sabraton and moves to the rail-trail for the biking and running portions of the event. The kids’ race involves a 66-yard swim, a one-and-a-half-mile bike trek, followed by a half-mile run. Adults must swim 300 yards, bike 11 miles, and run 3.11 miles.

WVU Children's Hospital will hold its 14th annual Kids Fair on Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Morgantown Mall. The event theme "Healthy Kids - Healthy Communities" is geared toward kids ages 12 and under and focuses on promoting health, wellness, and safety.
